Couples often feel pressure after a few months of trying. A calm checklist beats random supplements. Dr. Tabinda Naseem advises on fertility and women’s health at Nazar Health Care, Satellite Town.

Before the first fertility visit
- Track period start dates for 2–3 months
- Note mid-cycle fertile days if you know them (apps help, clinics confirm)
- Both partners: avoid smoking, limit alcohol, sleep, and healthy weight help
- Folic acid is often advised when planning pregnancy — ask your doctor for the right dose
- List prior surgeries, thyroid issues, PCOS, or pelvic infections
When to book sooner
- Under 35: trying for about 12 months without success
- 35+: often earlier (around 6 months) — ask your doctor
- Very irregular cycles, known PCOS, endometriosis history, or prior pelvic infection
- Partner has a known sperm or medical issue
- Two or more miscarriages
What happens in an early consult
History, exam when needed, and simple tests first — not every couple needs expensive packages on day one. Bring both partners’ questions. Book 10:00 AM–3:00 PM via 048-3212200 · WhatsApp 0345-8652555 · say “gynae / Dr. Tabinda”.
