Fever in children: when to worry
Fever is common. Watch how your child is drinking, breathing, and waking. Call sooner for babies under 3 months, or if fever lasts beyond 48–72 hours.
- Offer frequent fluids and light clothing
- Note temperature, time started, and other symptoms
- Seek urgent care for breathing trouble, seizures, or unusual sleepiness
